    Credit Consent

    I consent to the bank making enquiries about my credit record with credit reference agencies and credit bureaus for the purposes of assessing the credit application or updating my information in the future. I also consent to the bank sharing information with such agencies about how I manage this loan agreement, who may in turn share this information with other credit providers. I consent to identity and fraud prevention checks and sharing information relating to this application through the South African Fraud Prevention Service.

    In accordance with POPIA, I am aware that The Sol Energy Pty Ltd requires my/our consent to process my/our personal information as defined within the POPIA (Personal Information).

    I/We by my/our signature hereto expressly consent and agree that The Sol Energy Pty Ltd and/or its cessionary/ies may:

    1. make enquiries to confirm and verify any Personal Information provided by me/us to The Sol Energy Pty Ltd;
    2. generally make whatever enquiries that The Sol Energy Pty Ltd deems necessary from any source whatsoever;
    3. seek Personal Information relating to me/us from any credit bureau;
    4. process my/our Personal Information for purposes of providing the services provided in terms of the application/agreement/quote;
    5. process and disclose my/our Personal Information to its cessionary/ies for purposes of ceding or discounting this agreement to a third party;
    6. process and disclose my/our Personal Information for purposes of the prevention, detection and reporting of fraud and criminal activities, the identification of the proceeds of unlawful activities and the combating of money laundering activities;
    7. process and report on my/our Personal Information to comply with an obligation imposed by any applicable laws;
    8. utilise automated decision processes to facilitate the generation of credit score cards for the purposes of determining my/our creditworthiness and retain and utilise records of information pertinent to my/our ongoing creditworthiness;
    9. and provide your personal information to its subsidiaries and associated entities for purposes of marketing and referring potential business opportunities within its associated group of companies.

    I/we acknowledge that I/we have the right to access my/our Personal Information held by The Sol Energy Pty Ltd during office hours within a reasonable time after providing The Sol Energy Pty Ltd with a written request for access.
